WaT interview n.1!

The 1st step is to go through an interview where they set our English level and where we are supposed to pay a fee and sign some papers. I went there alone because Pete and Nicoll were there about 2 days ago.
I went by train to Bratislava and then by bus to the Obchodná street to the Student Agency branch office and before I stepped in, I went to McDonald to have a coffee- to calm my nerves. I was pretty stressed about the interview, mainly the english part.
The interview was pretty easy and short- she asked me few basic questions (my name, date of birth, family, hobbies, school, why do I want to go to the USA (I told her becasue of Prince- the stories he told me- I just have to experienced it myself :) ), where do I want to work there, if I already had any job etc. :) ) Then I read the agreement, signed it and paid the fee. The woman that did the interview with me was very sweet, she was smiling at me all the time and told me my English was pretty good- so she set me the highest level possible- Advanced :) - that means that I can choose whatever job I like :) Nicoll has the same level, but Pete has an Comunicational level so he can´t ask for any job because there is mostly a condition of Advanced level. That was a little problem because we wanted to go together but in the end we figured it out, SA helped us :)

The next step is to find an employer and go to the interview with them- through Skype or face to face in Prague. We are three so it won´t be that easy but we´ll figure something out :)

WORK & TRAVEL

Today November 28th my friend Nicoll and I went to Bratislava to Student Agency for Work and Travel prelection. Work and Travel programme allows you to work legally up to 4 months in the USA and then you have 1 month to travel whole America. The only condition is that you have to be a student at university. It is an adventure and a great opportunity to see the USA, live there for 4 months, work abroad and earn some money, meet a lot of new people, improve your English and mainly travel the US for one month! It would be a pity to not take this opportunity!!! :)

I went from Trnava after my classes, Nicoll form Skalica and we met at the main train station in BA and went together on the Obchodná street where this meeting was held.

We thought it will be just two of us but when we came there were another 10 people waiting for the prelection. The meeting supposed to give us all the information needed for the Work and Travel programme- firstly they told us about the program, prices, conditions and their previous experiences and then we had an oportunity to ask things we needed to know.

Nicoll and I we were excited about everything and we agreed we just HAVE TO go to the USA this summer :) She also told me her boyfriend Pete is going with us, but I don´t care because firstly I wanted to go by myself :)
Now we need to go through an interview in Bratislava where they set our English level, we sign some papers and mainly pay them the fee for the programme. I am looking forward to it but also I am a bit scared about the interview :)
