Exams DONE! Ready for packing-up! :)

I did all my exams! YAY!!!:)

It was my last exam today so I could also move out of the flat in Trnava (which I ...let´s say don´t love). It felt GREAT! The feeling that I won´t ever step in the house was ssooo reliesing! :)
My mum went with me as a support before the exam and than to help me pack-up my stuff.

There is another GREAT news! Yesterday my friend Xavi (We haven´t met in person yet) called me form the USA- Washington DC. Xavi also works in HRC and we had this agreement that if we find anything in DC where we could live for the 3 months we let each other know. I´ve been looking for some dwelling everyday but I didn´t find anything. Fortunatelly he called me yesterday (I was quite nervous about talking in English with him but it went just fine in the end :) ) He told me that he found a house where we could live for the three months. It is a big house quite near to Hard Rock Cafe so it would be really good...iti s in a safe neighbourhood too. Niki and I were very happy and excited becasue all co-workers are scared cause they can´t find anything afordable and quite close to our job.

I have to write a list of things I need to bring... The first and big dissapoitment was when I found out that my Dervish Longboard is 2 cm longer than is permissed so I can´t take it with me. Anyway...I´m taking it positively --> it is an oportunity to buy another one! :) I was thinking about a smaller one so I can take it wherever I want ---> I´m thinking about Madrid Bamboo Animal (FROG) A Frog for a Frog :)

Welcome to our blog! :)

Hello there :)

We are two girls Alice and Niki going to the US this summer. We've planed this from November 2012 but in that time we had no idea this dream of ours will someday come true :)

Thanks to the fact that we are students we could make use of the program called Work and Travel. We went to an agency (Student Agency), we did all the interview needed, got the job we wanted. Everything went just fine.
We already have everything needed- job, accommodation (well... only for the first week but we´ll figure something out), our visa, air tickets... The only thing we have to do is WAIT...

We are leaving our lovely country in June 9th very early in the morning- 2am to get to the Vienna airport 3 hours before departure. We have to change the airplane in Paris- Charles de Gaulle Airport- which will be very stressfull because we have only an hour and half to do that. Then from Paris we fly right to the capital and our temporary home- Washington DC!
