And when some car want to get in? Oh boy! It lakes about 10 minutes to check if there is no bomb or something- they check the engine bonnet, car coffer, everithing inside and under the car even the little hole where you put petrol! It was both scary and funny to watch that :)
When we finally got in (after an hour because they had to have their lunch- od course) they check our IDs and let us behind the huge fence. And I can tell you- there was nothing special.
At first we were kinda scared what would they ask us about but it was for nothing.
They called us by names, took our fingerprints and askes few basic questions as "Where do you go to school? What do you study? Why do you want to do in the US... There was a GREAT difference between the slovak and american officer. The slovak officer was bored, unpleasant mid- aged lady with a frown face talking to us like we were animals. The american officer was funny, nice and pleasnt mid-aged guy with a smile on his face talking to us like we where his friends and that he cares about us. He was also very nice because in spite of the fact that he was an American he was trying to talk to us in Slovak language (of course with a great american accent) It was very nice and thoughtful but also confusing for me- I didn´t know in what language should I talk to him so I asked him if we couldn´t rather talk in English. He just laughed and continued with perfect american English.
At the end he wished us luck and a great time in the US.
He made me want to go to the USA even more!!! Ohhh I can´t wait for the smiley faces!!! :)
